Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), founded in 1949, is a national key university and a comprehensive multi-disciplinary university located in Shanghai, China. SISU now has a full-time enrollment of over 1,400 postgraduate students, 6,000 undergraduates, and 1,200 international students. At present, SISU has 2 campuses, 20 departments and a faculty team with more than 300 full professors as well as hundreds of outstanding lecturers. SISU has long term collaborations with U.S. institutions such as Cornell University, Northwestern University, John Hopkins University, and Georgetown University.
Summer China Program is hosted by the School of International Cultural Exchange, which is located on SISU’s Hongkou Campus. At the heart of Shanghai, students can easily access fascinating tourist attractions and enjoy living in a metropolis.
